They are competently trained, to provide service to the best of their abilities, in accordance with the rules and guidelines provided by the Bureau of Security and Investigative Services, State of California. Reports
Our security officers are trained to report any incident of importance into their log reports. The security officers the assigned site cell phone where they record each incident worthy of mentioning that happens during their shift into the Live GPS reporting software. These reports are part of the service and are a must. The supervisors check these reports on a daily basis and a copy is provided to the client via e-mail every morning. Action is taken on incidents based on the security officers’ observation.
Client-Management Relationship
The client-management relationship is of utmost importance for us at Active Protection Services. Client satisfaction in all respects is our prime objective. Therefore, our efficient and competent management remains involved with the everyday working of the company to ensure a smooth operation. There is a tremendous coordination between all departments of the company. A number of times this coordination has helped to avert serious problems. Our management team is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to answer any concerns you might have. This enables us to continue providing you with top quality service as well as avoid miscommunication.
Insurance and Licenses
Active Protection Services is licensed, PPO # 15351, and fully insured, with a $2 Million General Liability and $1 Million Workers’ Compensation coverage.
Training
Active Protection Services’ Supervisors and Security Officers are qualified and pass all requirements of the Bureau of Security & Investigative Services, State of California. Our officers also meet all the standards set by the BSIS. The professional training of the security officers consists of the following:
- Emergency preparedness
- Anti-terrorism techniques
- Emergency evacuation
- Mob control
- Complete apprehension and arrest procedures
- Specific training and usage of verbal de-escalation techniques
- Personal hygiene
- Surveillance techniques
- In-depth public relations and
- Workplace safety instructions

We at Active Protection Services pride ourselves on having extremely well trained, highly educated and motivated officers. We have a large reserve pool which aids in replacement of officers in cases of emergency. Our supervisors are in constant communication with the operations department and the security officers by Cell phones, radios, and pagers.
